RQM Quantum Communication provides tools and infrastructure for building quantum-secure communication channels, leveraging the fundamental properties of quantum mechanics to guarantee information-theoretic security.
Overview¶
Quantum communication enables secure transmission of information using quantum mechanical principles such as quantum key distribution (QKD) and quantum entanglement. Unlike classical cryptography, which relies on computational hardness, quantum communication provides security guarantees rooted in the laws of physics.
RQM's quantum communication platform is being designed to offer a software-defined, backend-agnostic interface to quantum communication hardware and protocols.
